Pembrokeshire council has withdrawn all mince products from its schools, care homes and day centres with immediate effect after horsemeat was found in one of its supplier’s products.
Meat supplied by Welsh Bros Ltd to a consortium of councils including Pembrokeshire was found to have horsemeat present after tests.
The council said it had received assurances from its other suppliers that their meats were fully traceable.
