The Asian Food Awards provide an opportunity for Asian restaurants to gain exposure to an audience of industry professionals and decision makers, press and media. There were six awards (one per region), an award for the overall winner, an award for the best nominated take-away in Wales and the best nominated take-away in the West Country.
Joint winners of Best Restaurant in South East Wales award went to Mowgli’s Indian Restaurant and Lounge, and Grangetown’s Vegetarian Food Studio, both in Cardiff.
Rhiwbina’s Gateway of India, also in Cariff was named Best Asian Takeaway in Wales.
